New Demo & Gameplay Trailer Now Live!

We’re thrilled to announce that a new demo for Thief’s Shelter is now available to download right here on Steam! To celebrate, we’re releasing a fresh gameplay trailer featuring new glimpses inside Highburn Mansion — including some of the incredible voice work from our cast.

The demo covers the opening hours of Thief’s Shelter. It features some of the introductory puzzles, and gives you a good look at core gameplay mechanics — such as James’ Memoir, which you’ll use to log clues, work through puzzles, and track James’ mental state.

If this is your first time hearing about our game: Thief’s Shelter is a first-person mystery that combines puzzles and psychological horror. You play as James, a police detective called to investigate a curious homicide in Highburn Mansion. What he finds inside is a crime scene determined to break his mind.

James suffers from a condition known as ‘artificial dementia’. While inside the mansion, his mental state quickly deteriorates. You’ll see and hear things that aren’t there (or are they?), and discover the mansion itself is changing as you search for answers.
