Since launch, we’ve carefully worked through a wealth of player feedback, spending considerable time fine-tuning and iterating on the movement system. The result is a player controller that feels far less clunky and significantly more precise and responsive.

The other key focus of this update are balance changes and bugfixes to ensure a smoother experience.

We also added new content:

  • There a two new skills to improve starting gold for each run

  • The game now has it's unique game cursor

  • Added new animations for mining ores

  • Added new animations for mining stone tiles

New Content

  • Added two new skills to increase starting gold for each run

  • Added custom game cursor

  • Added "use double jump" hint when near wall

  • Added new animations for mining ores

  • Added new animations for mining stone tiles

Balance Changes

  • Increased chest spawn chance

  • Reduced height till caves appear

Improvements & Bug Fixes

  • Improved player movement and steering (jump, landing, walking, mining) to feel more natural

  • Improved enemy pathfinding in caves

  • Improved game loading issues handling

  • Improved explosion handling to remove slowdowns

  • Improved quickselect ui and icons size

  • Improvements for Steam Deck and Controller quickselect

  • Fix issue when opening pause consumables quickselect is invisible

  • Fix equipment is switching when using portal with controller

  • Fix pause menu surrender btn focus is lost when using controller and back btn

  • Fix save game btn sound is played after leaving traider building

  • Fix demo outro ui size

  • Fix spelling errors in skills screen

  • Fix mining down is not aborted when button is released in landing state
