The Wings of Dawn changes
The game server was down earlier today due to developers testing out a new update on the dev-branch. The update went smooth and we are now releasing to everyone else!
It's a performance enhancing update that should make everything a bit more smooth!
We are aware that people may spawn under the map, if you don't let it load before spawning in, so give it a moment!
Texture Scalability is at default at zero(0) and makes everything blurry, set it to minimum 50%!
Humans are still in heavy WIP, Don't mind their bugs and problems : )
When changing a lot of settings please restart your game to fix all visual glitches!
"Video memory has been exhausted" pop-up. We are aware of it, and working on it actively, don't mind it.
If you are still having performance issues do this! Press F1 when in-game, then write the following command: r.Nanite.MaxPixelsPerEdge 4 or r.Nanite.MaxPixelsPerEdge 8
Use 4 for normal use, and 8 if it's really bad.
Changes:
World Partitioned the Map.
Enabled Nanite for missing meshes like the ruins.
Put RVT on the landscape.
Nanite for the Char select island.
Moved Camera actor to that too.
RVT Tweaks to have the ground less blurry.
Changed Food Cube to Nanite Cubes.
Tweaks to Materials.
Tweaks to Pine Cliff Collision.
Added Green Berries.
Added a .ini type
