The Walking Trade changes
I swear physics will be the death of me. Thank you all for continuing to give me vital feedback on the state of the new physics update in the game. As well as some needed physics fixes, I have added some requested accessibility features to the settings menu.
Accessibility Features
Reduce Flashing: Reduces light flashes within the game. This includes muzzle flashes when shooting, bullet impacts and crafting items.
Reduce Post-Processing: Reduces post-processing effects. This mostly reduces the Bloom effect that brightens lights.
Brightness/Gamma: A slider from 0.5x to 1.5x that increases/decreases the global game brightness.
Camera Shake: A slider from 0x to 1x that reduces the intensity of the camera shake when taking damage, shooting, combat etc. 0x will fully remove camera shaking.
Idle Camera Sway: Toggles default idle camera sway.
Colorblind Mode
Toggle color correction to help with conditions Protanopia, Deuteranopia, and Tritanopia. Enabling these will reveal another option to select the intensity of the correction.
Note
This will only affect the game world and not the user interface due to engine rendering restrictions. As I do not have any of these conditions myself I have tried to research the implementation as best I could. If anybody finds them to not be useful for the specified condition please let me know.
Audio Balance: The master game audio can now be balanced between -1 (Left) and 1 (Right).
Mono Audio: The master game audio can now be set to Mono mode, playing all sounds through both left and right channels.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue causing some items to slide endlessly across surfaces. Worst offenders included flimsy wooden shelves and storage crates.
Fixed an issue causing items to sometimes fall through surfaces at lower frame rates after being dropped.
Fixed an issue causing items with multiple shelves (Dual Shelving Unit, Weapon Rack etc.) to not correctly restore locked physics for the shelved objects on them. You will need to reshelve those items for the physics to lock again.
Improvements
Tinned Tuna, 9mm Ammo, 5.56mm Ammo, 7.62mm Ammo and Shotgun Shells will no longer clip when placed onto a shelf.
Changes
The base lighting flash when crafting has been reduced.
If you still have this issue or new issues introduced please let me know asap! I know some players have reported issues with their player sliding a lot, if anybody has this issue and can find a clear way to reproduce it please get in touch.
Thanks again, Adam
