Cardiac Event Recorder - Update #107

Maybe it goes on for a little too long as well, but I know some of you will love it! There's still a little bit of writing I need to do for the event, but I'll patch it in within the next few days. Now that all the monster events are done, I can finally put a huge checkmark in the grand "to do" list. The end is in sight!

It's been a while since I've been able to add both a new event and a new monster battle in the same update. The new monster is one more for the True Panic event. This will fill that pretty common event with a lot more variety.

I've also finally added Shanx's event! The new minigame itself is pretty ambitious in a similar way to the one from Kiwi's event. Maybe it goes on for a little too long as well, but I know some of you will love it! There's still a little bit of writing I need to do for the event, but I'll patch it in within the next few days. Now that all the monster events are done, I can finally put a huge checkmark in the grand "to do" list. The end is in sight!

Content Added

  • 1 new monster to love (Total: 110)

  • 1 new event to discover (Total: 86)

  • 3 new dreams to fulfill (Total: 761)

Other Changes

  • Added a new attack to Wisp's battle

  • Increased the score gained from Wisp, but you will have to redo her quickplay battle to regain her radiant medal

  • Added color outlines to Nix Polyps and Tox Polyps, and also adjusted their card art and dream icons

  • In battles with Nix Polyps and Ember Polyps, polyps that use vertical beams will now disable them if they get very close to the edge of the screen

  • The Battery bonus gift will now fill your charge bar to 200% when you receive it

  • Added hints for discovering the helper bonus gifts that require you to have specific types of helpers to appear

  • Added a 1 second delay to Calorie's burning arena attack when starting her 2nd phase

Bug Fixes

  • Bug Fix: Blue bubble helpers such as Umbrella did not shrink faster when dealing damage as intended

Upcoming Stuff for version 8

  • Final bosses for the 6 family towers

  • Endless Towers mode

  • A few events for Endless Stress

  • A mode for playing event minigames outside of story runs

  • A few more story scenes for Her Heart and Defect in Story and Altered Story modes

Next Update

I want to have something done for the game's 8th early access anniversary. I don't know what it'll be yet, but I got to have something ready for February 14th!
