Repeated intro
Hello and welcome to the "version update" update of The Travelers, which features many accumulated smaller bug fixes that couldn't be addressed sooner due to the other fires that needed to be put out. Since this is the first update where many changes have been collected instead of being pushed as quickly as possible, rapid-fire, per-emergency, this update will officially be referred to as version 1.0.1.

Here is the changelog! It's nice to finally be able to do one of these:
Buffed acid suit / sanity helmet to fully resist cold when worn together
Adjusted the negative altitude of craters to be more realistic with other environmental features
In the crafting menu, the amount of the viewed item you currently own is now displayed above the "craft" button
Water is now only considered hazardous during autowalk if you aren't wearing the appropriate clothing to survive it
Closing/reopening the game during a temporary teleport will now restore the countdown timer
Added a few more anti-piracy measures, since apparently the game has now been uploaded to pirate websites. Since this is an online game it's easy to refute at least.
Added an invert-scroll option to the Gameplay Settings menu
Added a hidden setting to reduce the instancing-count in the text/rectangle shaders. The default is 10202 which can be high for certain graphics cards with lower VRAM (such as in lower-end laptops). This setting isn't shown in-game, but if the game crashes due to low VRAM while lots of text is being displayed (such as while reading a transcript with the map zoomed all the way out), reducing this value should help. It can be found in the settings.tt2 file in your appdata folder, beside the name "rect_text_instancing". Try 5000 or 1000, don't go too low.
Increased the contrast of the colors of Bob's couches
If you die during a temporary-teleport, the corpse is returned to the original spot, not dropped where you died. This confused many players who thought their bodies had vanished, so a clarifying event log has been added after you reincarnate.
Reduced the frequency of being disconnected due to "hidden position out of sync"
Maybe fixed screen-scaling issues for devices where Windows scaling is not 100% (if this is still an issue for you please let me know in our Discord!)
Fixed the map sometimes showing up as totally black after login on less stable connections
Fixed a bug where player builds were not being shown until they were about 25 tiles away, but only when traveling south or west
Fixed autowalk navigating around invisible buildings under certain world conditions
Fixed issues with max carry weight not being reset when certain actions affect the wear-status of clothing articles
Fixed being able to enable autowalk with the Q hotkey before you left the safe radius, which could break the way other things can be revealed
Fixed "packet invalidity issue" when using 2way teleporters frequently on a very slow connection
Fixed being allowed to place buildings on ladders to hide them
Corrected 5 typos
There will most likely be another bug fix update or two, and then a small content update that'll feature a few new things like place-able write-able signs, search/notes features in the journal, save-able coordinate lists, and a few small things for players who beat the puzzle. Also, I am still trying to fix the achievements bug, I have a ticket submitted with Steam and so far they don't know what's wrong either!
