It's a strange thing, working together on something for so long, for it to somewhat end in an instant. But The Tragedy at Deer Creek is now live.
We're excited, anxious, worried, happy and sad... but most of all thankful to everyone who helped us reach the finish line. We wouldn't have done it without you. Thank you Boden Game Camp and Boden Game Incubator, and everyone else we met along the way. Thank you Manuel and Jennifer for reaching out to help with translations. Thank you Martin, thank you Sergei, Bianca, Björn, Ayélen, all Mattias'es... the list is endless.
When me and my brother started out, we had no idea what we were doing. Honestly, we still kind of don't. We have so much to learn about making games. (Yes, a hint system is in the making.)
With that said, we hope that the passion, grit and hard work we’ve poured into this project shows.
The Tragedy at Deer Creek is a 3-5 hour long dark cinematic point-and-click experience about family, hardship, and the sacrifices love demands from us.
We hope you'll like it.
