Linux build launch issue (workaround)

I've gotten a few reports of the linux build throwing up an error saying it can't find an exe which seems to be something that's happened before with other games.

I've gotten a few reports of the linux build throwing up an error saying it can't find an exe which seems to be something that's happened before with other games. However, there is a workaround while I try to hunt down the cause of this issue assuming it's not on steam's end.

  • Right click on The Subject in your game library and go to properties.

  • Click the "Local Files" tab

  • Click "Browse Local Files"

There you should see the launch file for The Subject and the game should start up. Thank you for your patience and I'm sorry if you run into this issue. Please let me know if this workaround doesn't work for you. Thank you! -Brian
