The Space Between (Subatomic Forge) changes
LOTS of tweaks and additions to combat, UI, and more to make the game feel better and more satisfying to play. Enjoy!!!
Changed indicator animations on all weapons
Made coins and ammo glide toward the player
Made the dummy slide around less
Gave cutscenes slight animations
Revamped animations, sprites, and colors of ALL UI / BUTTONS
Revamped the Prism Dagger weapon
Added pickup sounds for coins and ammo, and changed the pickup sound for items
Revamped The Secret weapon
Removed the 'equip' button when selecting Junk items in the inventory (this did nothing if selected, but the unusable button has been removed)
An item's category (primary/secondary/etc) can now be seen in Shops based on a little color indicator before buying them.
Added a sound and notification when a new entity is logged in the Bestiary
Revamped the two Shield items to be more fair and balanced, making them negate one full hit of damage when directed at an enemy rather than haphazardly blocking projectiles.
Fixed Stable Atom UI overlapping with Boss Defeated UI, and cleaned up the message-broadcast text
Main Menu screen's background now changes based on the level your game is saved in
Added a "Mission Status" window to the Map screen, providing hints as to the boss locations in each level
Updated the Steam page with new assets and screenshots
Added several new sound effects to make UI feel more satisfying:
Item Sell, Item Purchase, UI Click, Bestiary Close, Atoms Window Open, Item Equip, Item Unequip, Player Heal, Dash Recharge, Shop Interact, Outpost Upgrade, Unstable Atom Use, Puzzle Solve, Door Travel, Atomic Locker Close, Atomic Locker Open, Shop Domain Door Travel
