The South Island changes
Welcome to our first devlog on Steam. We will share here the latest updates and news we've been working on!
11 completed maps in the game: Enchanted Beach (Boss Fight with Iara in 2D platform style), Coastal Forest, Dangerous Swamp, Guarani Village (West), Open Fields, Bridge Entrance (Boss Fight with Boitatá), Cave, Araucaria Forest, Gês Village (East), Abandoned Hills, and Spirit Waterfall. Including all environmental resources of fauna and flora.
We created 10 new enemies, each with unique characteristics and targeted to their natural habitat.
Two Puzzles completed. In the Cave, discover where and how to push the stones to the button to open the big rock door. In the Araucaria Forest, deactivate an illegal tree-cutting sawmill, and figure out which lever and the correct order to shut down the cutting machine.
- We added some weaponshatchet, spear, bow and arrow, each with 4 levels of strength: common, rare, epic, and legendary. Some weapons will be available for purchase in village shops, and others will be received after completing a mission.
Currently, we have 30 missions created in the game. Missions will be visible in the game menu when accessing the mini-map. Upon completing a mission, the player will receive an XP reward.
After much effort and determination, we finished the player's attribute points system. By filling the XP bar by defeating enemies and completing missions, the player will receive 1 attribute point, which can be used to upgrade the character's health, strength, speed, and defense. These points can be redistributed and upgraded according to the skill strategy chosen by the player.
Some special masks have been added to the game. By carrying a mask in the inventory, the player receives the additional ability of that mask.
We thank everyone for supporting indie developers! Currently, we work in a two-member team: Santhiago and Luis Santos. We are a small team with a big dream to make this game lovable for everyone!
We are always open to feedback, comments, and suggestions. Don't forget to add the game to your wishlist! See you in the next devlog!
