The Signifier Director's Cut changes
We are thrilled to share that The Signifier: Director's Cut has been nominated for this weekend’s IndieCade Awards! In short, IndieCade organizes events showcasing independent games around the globe. This weekend’s event begins today and goes through Sunday October 24, when the awards will take place.
In addition to five awards that all nominated games are considered for, The Signifier: Director's Cut has been shortlisted for IndieCade’s Visual Design Award. From their website, here’s a description of what the award seeks to recognize:
As games grow across boundaries, platforms, and formats, the craft of animation and art are harnessed in an ever growing number of ways. The delicate work of creating a living, breathing world through design of environments, the movement of characters, the color of the sky, the shape of the text and icons, and more has become a defining field for games and play. The Visual Design Award celebrates accomplishment and innovation by these masterful artists.
The Signifier: Director’s Cut will be featured on Sunday just before a special presentation and the IndieCade Awards, so be sure to tune in to https://www.twitch.tv/indiecade to join us for the event!
