changedThe DiscordAs we announced here last year, we launched a Blazing Griffin Discord server where people can play all our games, including The Ship, and the response was immense. Since then we've had loads of games and parties put together, and ran multiple community nights to enjoy the original game alongside Remasted and Murderous Pursuits. You should totally join it here: discord.gg/blazinggriffin
addedThe ServerIt got a little frustrating relying on other servers or temporary ones of our own for the original, so we've just launched a new 24/7 server operated and updated by us. We took it for a spin on Discord last week, and it's working great. Sometimes I'll turn off all ship security using console commands and watch chaos unfold, but only sometimes.
fixedThe ServerThe IP address is 81.28.6.20:27015 and can be added to your favorites by going to Join A Cruise > Favourites > Add Server which keeps it there forever. The server browser is still bugged unfortunately, but there is a fixed workaround available on our Discord - thanks to ReazuDrolfsky for finding it for us! More public servers pop up and are shared on the Discord also.
changedThe EventTo celebrate this milestone, we're running a community event tonight(!) at 9PM UK time (BST). You can hang with us on voice chat, join and chat in text, or just lurk with a purse bomb in-game to ruin our day. Join the Discord and get a reminder here: https://discord.gg/BqV6BcRW?event=998615228570931282
addedThe EventIn the meantime, I'd make sure you're following our Twitter for updates, giveaways, and more. You could follow our TikTok too, where I've been posting Ship content and prototypes for new multiplayer games.
changedThe EventI hope to see fresh faces on our server, and aboard Mr. X's cruise.

The Ship: Murder Party released in July 2006, technically tomorrow. While the folks at Blazing Griffin cannot contractually edit or update the original game (due to Source Engine licensing issues), we still love to grow the community and keep things sailing. It's always a genuine joy to return to this game with its original fans.
