The Shimmering Horizon and Cursed Blacksmith changes
*CAUTION*
The save file structure from v1.06 onwards differs from versions prior to v1.05. Once a file is saved in this version it cannot be used with versions prior to v1.05.
Additionally, the new save file structure will not be compatible with save editors of previous formats.
As stated before, any bugs caused by modifying save files in any way are not covered by the game's bug support. We appreciate your understanding.
NEW FEATURES
Steam post imageA new feature has been added to Doroelle's room in the Church that allows you to check Doroelle's advice at any time.
(Unlocked after spending some time in Chapter 2. If you do not see this feature please re-enter the Church.)
Steam post imageA statue of Zanse, the God of Wind, has been added to the Safehouse. It can be used to deposit and withdraw Souls. After meeting certain conditions, it will also allow teleportation to the rest point before Boss battles.
SKILL ADJUSTMENTS
Forced Raid: Using this Skill no longer ends the turn. The player can continue to act.
Fury Sacrifice: HP cost reduced. Durability cost scaling with Skill level reduced.
Galaxy Slash: SP cost reduced.
Shadow Clone: Durability cost reduced. HP of summoned clone scaling with Skill level increased.
BALANCE CHANGES
Souls required for the Soul Imprints ability "Item Keeper" reduced.
Price of Weapon Scraps sold by Skewer adjusted. (Will be applied upon next entry to the Safehouse.)
Stat conversion rate for excess elements when using Low-Class Forging adjusted. (Effect significantly reduced when using Forced Forging.)
Add. Effect "Chance to resist knockback" now also applies to Gust Traps. (Does not apply to fixed map traps.)
Rejection Reaction knockback immunity adjusted. Knockback will not trigger when enemies, obstacles, or other impassable objects are behind the player.
Effect of throwing Corrupted Elixirs at Bosses adjusted.
Weapon Dur. UP and Acc. Dur. UP Magic Circles will now only select equipment that can have its durability restored.
(If no eligible equipment is available the Magic Circle will have no effect.)
Pawn Traps will no longer pawn Weapon Scraps or Essences. Souls obtained from pawned items increased.
Lizardfolk Tails can now be thrown if Throw Weapon has been learned.
Egg Shadow's self-destruct will now only deal explosion damage once.
Reflect Shield mechanics for the Chapter 5 Boss adjusted.
CASUAL, ASSISTED: Duration of the Chapter 5 Boss's Reflect Shield reduced.
CASUAL, ASSISTED: Some Soul Imprints abilities will now scale without story progression restrictions.
BUG FIXES
[INVESTIGATING] Fixed the bug where obtained items may not be registered to the Item Encyclopedia under certain circumstances.
Fixed the bug where items not yet exchanged may be accidentally unlocked at the Halo of Chaos Exchange under certain circumstances.
Fixed the issue where some Add. Effect values are displayed incorrectly when using the Enchantment Pedestal.
Fixed the bug where selecting a stacked item may change its position in the inventory list under certain circumstances.
Fixed the issue where Add. Effect values on normal Materials may sometimes be higher than those marked with ★.
Fixed the bug where visual effects for Materials marked with + or ★ on the map may disappear after reloading a save file under certain circumstances.
Fixed the bug where thrown items may land on water pools in certain maps.
Fixed the bug where the Add. Effect "Deal damage when HP is below 25%" may affect the player in addition to enemies under certain circumstances.
Fixed the bug where the player's Confusion resistance does not apply correctly when an enemy uses Siren's Vocals.
Fixed the bug where map objects may not display correctly when the player continuously moves while in Haste state under certain circumstances.
Fixed the bug where the Reaper becomes transparent after the player's Mark of Death countdown ends.
Fixed the bug where thrown weapons or accessories may disappear when using Precision Throwing while under the Deadly Barrage state.
Fixed the bug where nearby enemies may still attack the player when activating a Friendly Magic Circle under certain circumstances.
Fixed the bug where Elemental resistance buffs cast by certain enemies do not function correctly in Hardcore Mode.
Fixed the bug where Egg Shadow does not explode correctly when defeated under certain circumstances.
Fixed the bug where Devil Mage may begin casting a Skill even while Silenced under certain circumstances.
Fixed the bug where Tentacles and Vines do not enter Poison state when there is no target nearby.
Fixed the bug where some enemies have abnormal attack range when near Icicles.
Fixed the bug where some Monster Girls preparing an AoE Skill may redirect it towards the player without locking on, if the original target disappears.
Fixed the bug where certain voice lines do not play when some Monster Girls are defeated.
Fixed the bug where ◯◯◯◯ may be affected by teleportation effects under certain circumstances.
Other miscellaneous fixes.
OTHERS
Steam post imageSave slots increased from 3 to 15.
Save slots now display the player name of that file.
Loading speed for save files from v1.06 or later improved when opening the load screen. (Older versions not affected.)
1 new Hardcore Mode-related achievement added.
The original Hardcore Mode achievement requirement changed to "Clear Hardcore Mode from New Game".
(Players who have already obtained the original achievement will automatically receive the new achievement when loading a save file while connected to Steam.)
Pressing any button during the ending video will now display a prompt to skip.
When entering a new loop from an ANOTHER clear save file the difficulty can be reselected without restriction.
(This cannot be used to obtain the New Game Hardcore Mode clear achievement.)
When entering a new loop from an ANOTHER clear save file the prologue can be skipped.
When entering a new loop accessory entries in the Encyclopedia will be grayed out.
(Treated as not unlocked. Even if an accessory was unlocked in a previous loop, it cannot be identified until the chest is opened again.)
Chapter 5 side quest requirements now based on the number of accessory entries registered in the Encyclopedia. Entries from previous loops also count.
Maximum level for Monster Girls in the Arena increased to 99.
Maximum displayed duration for the player's status effects, buffs, etc. increased to 999 turns.
Adjusted the criteria for displaying "NEW" on items in the inventory. All non-stackable items will now display "NEW" when obtained.
Adjusted the minimap marker for the exit to the next floor so it is not obscured by other item markers.
(Enemy markers may still obscure it.)
System forced fast-forward will be temporarily paused when changing maps to prevent errors that may occur under certain circumstances.
Adjusted the hold time required to trigger the weapon selection menu by holding the attack button during system forced fast-forward.
Volume of certain voice lines adjusted.
