The Scouring changes
Orcs and Humans!
It's been almost one year since we launched The Scouring into Early Access. What a journey it's been. Thank you for sticking with us, for the feedback, the mods, the battles, and the belief.
To mark the occasion, we've added a new chapter to The History of The Scouring DLC:
"A Year in Early Access – Recap"
A look back at where we started, what we've built, and where we're going.
Roadmap Updated
We've also refreshed our public roadmap with the latest priorities and timelines. Check it out to see what's coming next - including campaign progress, new features, and more.
What else is new?
-30% discount – grab The Scouring at a reduced price!
Ranked reset – fresh start, new climb. Season 2 begins now.
Experience fix – units will no longer gain XP if their projectile is deflected or the attack misses. Fair fights only.
Classic+ – Asymmetric Balance Testing in Ranked
We're experimenting with a more asymmetric approach in ranked. This is a test, not a final version. Here's what's changed in Classic+ (active in ranked):
Ships are cheaper – naval combat is more accessible.
Unit price adjustments – several units have been rebalanced.
Farm & food balance – economy pacing has been tweaked.
New units added – including a flying unit for Humans!
New Orc defenses – Mines and Ballistas are now available for the Horde.
New heroes – additional hero options for both factions.
This is a bold step, and we need your feedback. Play, break, compare, and tell us what works - and what doesn't. We're building this together.
Thank you for being part of this first year. Here's to many more.
