☕ The Roast – Update 0.9.6: Movable Equipment Update

This update focuses on improving flexibility in the kitchen and bar area, adding new customization options, and delivering several fixes and stability improvements.

Kitchen & Customization Improvements

• Added the ability to purchase additional Work Counters from the market. They can be placed in both the bar and the back room.

• Work Counters now have functional cabinet doors, allowing you to use the lower compartments for storage.

• Espresso Machine, Filter Coffee Machine, and Coffee Grinder are now movable and can be purchased from the market.

• Wall shelves are now movable and can also be purchased from the market.

• Added several new market items including: Portafilter, Coffee Jar, Tamper Station, Milk Pitcher, Cup Holder, and more.

• The Ingredient Fridge can now store and cool snacks directly or via crates.

• Prevented the fridge door from closing if items are placed incorrectly inside.

Placement & Interaction Improvements

• Fixed an issue where objects could overlap during placement.

• Improved object snapping to prevent unwanted rotation angles.

• Fixed an issue where pressing Esc would not exit certain device interactions.

• Fixed an issue where multiple players using the same device simultaneously could cause the game to freeze.

Visual & Environment Updates

• Street lamps now turn on in the evening.

• Updated interior lighting brightness inside the shop.

Fixes

• Fixed an issue where milk could spoil the next day after loading a save, even if stored properly.

• Fixed an issue where snacks taken directly from the fridge could appear incorrectly positioned on plates.

• Fixed an issue where recipes could appear selectable even if they were not compatible with the selected cup type.

Important Note

Due to previous rotation updates made to machines, some machines in existing saves may appear slightly rotated after loading. You may need to reposition them once.
