changedThank you for a fantastic Next Fest!Besides the fact that I will never get over being called a "Mad Genius" (that's going on the business cards ;) ) it was so rewarding to watch folks play and enjoy (a slice of) our game. I hope if you got a chance you enjoyed it too !
addedGame UpdatesWe can't get too in the weeds on exactly what we're redoing , but I can say that overall the game is progressing smoothly . Our first full game playtests have revealed some issues to iron our before release, and there's still plenty of secrets I can't help but add in there before launch , but overall the game is getting noticeably more complete by the day. That said if you're hankering for something to play in our absence:
addedGames to play this month (while you wait)If you loved Universal Paperclips the devs and their sharp wit return with a new subject: esports. This one, like the meta takes above, is best played without too much reading. All I can say is it made me laugh out loud quite a few times in its demo.

Thank you for a fantastic Next Fest!

As many of you know we just participated in the Steam Next Fest and were blown away by the response! Over five thousand claims were made on our demo during the period with nearly two thousand players! Most touching of all 23 of you took the time to write glowing reviews! Rest assured we read, and are motivated by, every one.

The Demo will be until November 19th, so feel free to explore until then!

The Demo of The Remake of the End of the Greatest RPG of All Time

During the Next Fest we also received a lot of wonderful coverage from outlets, youtubers, and streamers. Here's some of our favorites:

We can't get too in the weeds on exactly what we're redoing, but I can say that overall the game is progressing smoothly. Our first full game playtests have revealed some issues to iron our before release, and there's still plenty of secrets I can't help but add in there before launch, but overall the game is getting noticeably more complete by the day. Games to play this month (while you wait)

Since our game won't be out this month, I've rounded up some of the exciting games out in the next weeks that you should absolutely check out! Disclaimer: some of these games are by friends so we're biased but... they're also good so it should be fine.

No Players Online

The most biased of these but you may recall I did a panel with Adam Pype, the director on this fantastic meta-game, and well... it's finally releasing! Be sure to give it a play, and experience this fascinating and mirror-shine polished horror game.

No Players Online

It Takes a War

One meta-fictional "online" shooter to another, from the creator of "The Corridor" ITAW is a super promising take releasing the same day as No Players Online. This one seems to be much more focused on humor than anything else and if it's as funny as Thomas Mackinnon's last it'll be a treat.

It Takes a War

Unbeatable

I don't even need to pitch Unbeatable just watch the trailer(s) and see as your contact info enters itself into steam on instinct. RJ Lake and co. never do anything without the maximum possible effort they can put in it, so this will doubt be the same.

UNBEATABLE

Goodnight Universe

From the developers of "Before Your Eyes" this one is very special. Like their first effort this team paints with a broad brush that can, occasionally, be less than nuanced, but it's easily made up for by the sheer ingenuity this team's pet eye-tracking tech brings. I can't wait for everyone to play this one.

Goodnight Universe

Q-UP

If you loved Universal Paperclips the devs and their sharp wit return with a new subject: esports. This one, like the meta takes above, is best played without too much reading. All I can say is it made me laugh out loud quite a few times in its demo.

QUP

Demon School

I first heard about Demon School last year when it was the booth next to us at a game expo. It was so polished that I assumed it was coming out any minute and over a year later it's finally here. It seems like Necrosoft have got something truly special and done everything to make it the best it can be.

Demonschool

Before you know it, you'll be playing TRotEotGRPGoAT!

Every journey comes to an end, and though it's true that ours may have an extra leg we didn't anticipate, it'll be here before we all know it. We hope you all will be with us as we bring this to its conclusion, and excited by what we've cooked up. Until next time, Lucas
