Yalda night, also known as Shab-e Yalda, is an ancient Iranian festival celebrated on the longest night of the year, marking the arrival of winter and the triumph of light over darkness. Families gather together, stay up late, eat special foods like pomegranates and watermelon, recite poetry, and engage in storytelling to celebrate the occasion. It's a time of warmth, connection, and anticipation for the longer days ahead.
