UPDATE 1.4.2

FEATURES:

Vote History tab

  • It is now possible to view the vote of each player on a specific Commissariat Proposal.

Tyrant Special Permit Self Assignment option

  • By default, the Tyrant used to be allowed to assign Special Permit to themselves. Some players have expressed frustration with this, therefore it is now possible to customize your match accordingly.

7+ player two-sabotage requirement option

  • Same goes for the two-sabotage requirement on the 4th task when playing with 7+ players. The 4th task required two sabotages by two different dissident members to be sabotaged successfully. This is now customizable.

REBALANCING:

Rebalancing Instability

Instability is an important aspect of the game: it prevents players from indefinetely rejecting Commissariat Proposals, which would give Loyalists too much of a safe haven to fall back onto whenever they'd be undecided on the identity of other players. By default the instability bar has 5 levels, triggering an instant Dissident win whenever this reached the maximum level.

This, however, created a fatal flaw: on five players, whenever the player coming right after the Tyrant's turn held the Commissar Role, Loyalists could just reject Commissariat Proposals enough times for the Commissar Role to go back to the Tyrant. On five players, the maximum number of people that can be involved in a Decree is two. Therefore, this could be exploited to ensure the Loyalists always had a Decree involving the Tyrant (who is sure to be on the Loyalist side) enacting the decree: if it got sabotaged, it meant the other player involved was surely a Dissident.

The issue has been solved now, with the maximum instability level set to 4 for five players.

BUGFIXES:

  • Network stability issues.
