addedAlong with a new beefed-up menu system, keybindings are now available for both KBM and gamepad. You can seamlessly change between either, as well as use Xbox, Dualshock, or even Switch controllers.
addedThe new "ready-up" system at end-game allows for a new game to be seamlessly created at the end of a game.
removedThe tutorial is hidden (just for now!) as we are working through some gameplay tweaks, such as playing with the idea of getting rid of the ball dislodging when it hits the wall, or perhaps only at high speeds. As you all help me test more, we can decide if this means we no longer need separate hands for controls or if switching hands is a needed thing. I kind of like the idea of it but we'll see how this game evolves.
addedAdded a song to the front end
changedGameplay:
fixedFixed some aiming stuttering issues on the client which caused the ball to not go where the player thought they were aiming.

  • Along with a new beefed-up menu system, keybindings are now available for both KBM and gamepad. You can seamlessly change between either, as well as use Xbox, Dualshock, or even Switch controllers.

  • Additionally, there's no more host migration for the time being, as that was making some weird bugs, mostly in the end-game menu, and making games unjoinable.

  • The new "ready-up" system at end-game allows for a new game to be seamlessly created at the end of a game.

  • The tutorial is hidden (just for now!) as we are working through some gameplay tweaks, such as playing with the idea of getting rid of the ball dislodging when it hits the wall, or perhaps only at high speeds. As you all help me test more, we can decide if this means we no longer need separate hands for controls or if switching hands is a needed thing. I kind of like the idea of it but we'll see how this game evolves.

  • Added a song to the front end

Gameplay:

  • Throw aiming gets cancelled when an Air Dash is performed.

  • Fixed some aiming stuttering issues on the client which caused the ball to not go where the player thought they were aiming.

  • Some vfx additions

Give it a try and let me know how it feels in the Discord!
