The Outer Islands – Demo Coming Wednesday

Steam has approved the demo, and if all goes well it will release this Wednesday afternoon (UK time).

Over the past week I’ve been finishing the last round of testing and tightening up the clues and story threads that lead toward Asylum Rock.

Something strange is happening there.

Detective Shepherd now carries a small military radio receiver. Occasionally it picks up faint signals coming from the direction of the asylum. Numbers. Fragments of Morse. Things that don’t quite make sense yet.

If you’re paying attention, those signals may become important later.

The demo has also had a pass on readability and interface tweaks, particularly for smaller screens. Steam Deck and controller support have been tested thoroughly and everything should work as expected.
