Director's Comment

This maintenance includes several key balance adjustments addressing the excessive Move Speed reduction effects caused by Rifles, traps, and Shock Arrows, as well as buff efficiency related to the BARTENDER Class.

That said, the Skills and combat balance for all Classes have not yet reached their final design phase. This adjustment is a first pass aimed at creating a more stable combat flow. Work is underway to refine internal combat calculation formulas and some stat definitions to ensure they function as intended, and further fine-tuning will continue going forward.

In the future, we plan to adjust the LOCKDOWN Class's instant trap placement structure so that the installation process requires time. In return, we will add new gadgets that can be used immediately, providing more Tactical options. Additionally, we are working on enhancing visual indicators for the BARTENDER's various buff effects so players can understand them more intuitively. Our goal is to create an environment where players can gauge an opponent's status to some degree before engaging in combat.

Balance Changes

Weapons

After analyzing recent play data and combat logs, we identified instances where Rifles were performing above their intended design range. In particular, we observed excessively high stability and efficiency in mid-to-long range engagements, so damage values have been adjusted to maintain overall combat balance.

  • Rifle Attack power for all types of Rifles (standard Rifles, quest reward Rifles, Crafted Rifles, etc.) will be reduced.

By Class

LOCKDOWN

When using LOCKDOWN's traps and Shock Arrows, we identified situations where stacking Move Speed reduction effects significantly limited players' ability to respond. We believe it is important for every Class to have a minimum window to react or evade during sudden combat situations, so this patch focuses on alleviating those oppressive moments.

  • Explosive TrapMove Speed reduction effect on hit has been reduced.
  • Shock ArrowMove Speed reduction effect on hit has been reduced.

BARTENDER

For the BARTENDER Class, we identified situations where the buff efficiency from consuming self-crafted drinks exhibited excessively high duration and effectiveness in certain scenarios, significantly impacting combat flow. Accordingly, we have adjusted the buff efficiency applied to the BARTENDER themselves to prevent them from disproportionately disrupting overall combat balance.

  • Bottoms Up!The effect increase when consuming self-crafted drinks has been reduced.
  • Endless AromaThe duration increase when consuming self-crafted drinks has been reduced.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the game could crash when the character died while interacting with objects.

  • Mitigated an issue where the game would intermittently become completely unresponsive after entering a match, preventing normal gameplay.

  • Fixed an issue where voice chat would not function properly when joining mid-game during Duo play while in Spectate mode.

  • Fixed an issue where the spectated character's animations would not display properly while in Spectate mode.

  • Fixed an issue where Ammunition would not fire on the first shot after loading Rifle Ammo.

  • Fixed an issue where switching weapons while placing a LOCKDOWN trap would cause the trap to be placed without consuming the item.

  • Fixed an issue where the Reinforced Metal Ingot reward from The Armsmith's 'The Limit of a Weapon' mission was being granted at Rare grade.

    • For players who have already completed the mission and received the reward, the correct item will be sent via mailbox after maintenance is complete.

Known Issues

  • Some objects in the Interval Zone may appear abnormally.

  • The client may intermittently crash when changing floors or while spectating.

  • The character hit effect and hit-related HUD do not display when hit by the Smasher's ground slam Skill.

  • Items dropped on the ground may intermittently be unable to be picked up.

  • Mouse clicks may become unresponsive in certain situations.

    • This issue can be resolved by pressing the ESC key twice.

    • [New] If this issue occurs after reconnecting to the game, please report it through the HELP CENTER.

  • The game may intermittently crash during shader compilation.

  • [Updated] A mitigation patch has been applied for the issue where the game would intermittently become completely unresponsive after starting, preventing normal gameplay.

    • If you experience this issue, please contact us through the HELP CENTER.

    • Please make sure to include the time of occurrence and your username in your inquiry.

  • Crouch/Stand inputs can be performed while grabbed by a Zombie.

  • If a Zombie grab attack occurs while using a smoking item, the Cigarettes display may appear abnormally.

  • After a player is killed by a Zombie grab attack, the Zombie may not transition to normal AI behavior.

  • When listing an item for Sell on the Trade post, the lowest price (per unit) information may incorrectly display as 'No items listed.'

    • This can be resolved by checking the item's listing and re-registering it.

  • When viewing previous season Ranking records, screen effects may intermittently appear abnormally.

  • The game may intermittently freeze when a Zombie grab attack occurs in certain situations.

  • The guard gauge may intermittently fail to recover when a Zombie grab attack occurs while guarding with a Shovel.

  • If a Ranged Weapon is removed while the reload UI is displayed, the reload UI may remain on screen.

  • Looting sounds for some items may not play properly, or multiple looting sounds may play simultaneously upon entering a certain range.

  • When right-clicking to Equip Throw or Recovery Item to the quick slot from the Inventory, the item in the previous slot may be used, or the equipped item may disappear.

Important Notice:

  • Matchmaking will be unavailable 30 minutes before maintenance begins.

  • There is a risk of item loss if maintenance begins while you are playing.

  • Please make sure to safely exit the game before maintenance starts.
