addedThe Merry Fairy still feels like a new home to me, one year after I opened its doors on Steam. It still feels surreal that I built it, all by myself, and with the generous help of my friends and music from the artists that I so admire. True to what I have dreamed, The Merry Fairy feels very much like a sanctuary, a place where I can just be myself, and where I feel so glad to share and showcase my creativity and interests. And it just so happens that my fairy intuition was right: there are many other magical creatures who are kindred spirits and enjoy visiting my little world! Thank you so very much for being here!
changedMy birthday is on July 9th, and traditionally I never really celebrated it until last year. That is when I gave my dream a chance and launched The Merry Fairy! Very soon, in just a few days, I turn 45 and The Merry Fairy turns one. So it is with immense joy that I can say, The Merry Fairy will be discounted by 90% thought-out the entire Summer Sale, which starts in a few hours and ends right for my birthday. And I love that the price now becomes 99 cents, yet another celebration of my favourite number. I hope you can celebrate with me!
addedAs per presents, well, I personally enjoy some far away indigenous practices where, for your birthday, you give instead of receiving gifts. My gift, besides this discount, will also come as an update with new content and features. But I am planning to launch it right before my birthday celebrations. I still have a few more days to prepare and polish build 70 :)
changedBut this love is soft and gentle, and you need to lean down and lend your ear to the earth, or get really, really close to the bark of a very old oak. This is not something you can feel while stressed or rushed, or while chasing some imaginary, man made reward, like money. This is instead a leap of faith, a great trust that we all belong and that our deepest, truest dreams are worth creating. This is perhaps, my greatest wish: that those of you that stay a little at The Merry Fairy gain the gentle courage to pursue your own dreams. That you get a little glimpse of your own magic. That you remember just how valuable you are.

But to the few that remained and returned as cherished guests in my home, I hope it became clear by now: The Merry Fairy is real, it is my home, and I truly am a Fairy living in Fairyland. As I slowly settle in this little life of mine by the forest, with my garden, and my very own enchanted cottage to care for, I realise just how uncommon and magical my life has become. In the refreshing silence of the forest, I can sometimes hear the trees whispering of the profoundly magical importance of every single living creature, all wanted, all loved, all very much embraced by this beautiful planet of ours.

Because you see, I realised I have this amazing power to decide how I see this world - and so do you. When I saw danger and stress and scarcity, I lived through danger and stress and scarcity. But I learned how to see better, and the more I look, the more I understand the intricately magical design of this universe, and how generously it provides for all. I am slowly learning true self sufficiency, and to my great wonder, gaining these skills does not isolate me (though it makes me wilder), but instead it brings be closer to those that genuinely like me for me, wings and all.
