The Magister changes
It's official. The Magister was 2021's 'Best Game About Being An Alcoholic Hallucinating Fanatical Fantasy Detective'. At least, that's the highly prestigious accolade bestowed upon The Magister by PC Invasion in its 'Alternative Awards'.
Here's what PC Invasion had to say:"...depending on your randomized character, you might be compelled to drink every day, or visit the temple, or maybe you see enemies that don’t actually exist. Flawed protagonists are a standard, but it’s fun having something like that in a randomized game where you have to battle your own demons as well as the mystery at large."
So now you know – when it comes to games about being a boozy snoop extremist, The Magister is up there with the very best of them :)
