The Local changes
Giant's Heart
Giant's Heart is a brand new area added to the map and is inside of Northern Peak. There are 2 entrances, one on the forest side of the mountain, and one on the quiet ocean side.
2 New Timed Courses
Giant's Heart - a points course that takes place in, you guessed, Giant's Heart
Ahoy 2? - a non-linear points course sequel to the critically acclaimed Ahoy!
The medal and trophy times should hopefully be possible but let me know if not and I'll adjust them.
Timed Weekly Adjustments
I've changed some of the Aim course generation values to help prevent comically short courses from being generated.
Increased minimum distance range to between 400 and 700 inclusive (was previously between 100 and 400 inclusive). Since the max range of bullets is 500, this should make it much less likely to have targets shootable from spawn
Increased total target range to be between 4 and 6 inclusive (was previously between 2 and 5 inclusive). This means there will now be at minimum 4 targets I'll be keeping an eye on the sentiment around the courses generated over the next couple of weeks and may adjust these values again.
Other
Fixed the first point on PRIX's mesh not aligning with the collider
Fixed a bug where the total time hours displayed on the Order contracts would wrap back to 0 after each full day of playtime
Fixed a bug where both anti-aliasing options would try to use the resolution setting as their value
Fixed a bug where viewing a demo in Zen would make the Timed points visible upon exiting the demo
Note on Giant's Heart
I've tried to make Giant's Heart have as little impact on the existing world as possible, as to not break any current routes. The only areas that are slightly changed are where the entrances are.
And just a note for anyone using the new area in their custom maps: this area has it's own lighting and also has unique culling behaviour. When in the editor, the light is always disabled, and the area is never culled out. There are also 2 black covers that hide the area popping in and out which also are hidden in the editor. Just make sure you check how things behave properly before publishing. You may also want to check if the changes to entrances have impacted your existing maps.
