✲ The Last Poem Art Director: Werkbau ✲
A compelling audiovisual experience begins with meticulous and rigorous design. The main visual artist of this project is Werkbau, a versatile and highly accomplished illustrator who has long been active on the frontlines of both the Chinese and Japanese animation industries as well as game illustration. His recent works include Persona 5: The Phantom X, Suicide Squad ISEKAI, White Lightning, and Mushoku Tensei II: Jobless Reincarnation. He also served as the character designer and CG artist for the previous title Christmas Tina - 泡沫冬景.
This time, the creator’s message takes a slightly different form. Werkbau presents it through a series of casual sketch-like doodles.
Perhaps, compared to words, images come closer to capturing his current state of mind— about creation, about the characters, and about this journey that is still ongoing.
