The Last Embrace Name Change

Hi everyone!

As you may have noticed, the name of the game has changed. It is now called ''The Last Embrace: Book One''!

I have already talked about in my previous report and posts that the first part of the game would be released later this year, and this name change reflects that.

What does this mean for the game:

The game is still on track and on schedule and development is going well, but it has been decided that we would give you the first part of the story sooner rather than let you wait for another whole year for the full release, meaning the game will just be split into two parts, or ''books''.

Book One will contain the Prologue and first five chapters of the game and will conclude the so called ''Awakening'' part of the story line, which deals with protagonists awakening and acclimation to the modern world, while also forging new friendships and relationships. Book one will release by the end of this year.

On the other hand, Book Two, which is expected to come sometime next year, will be dealing with the conflict against the Immortal itself and will have a much bigger focus on the vampire aspect of the game and will contain five more chapters and then ending with a epilogue chapter where all endings will be available.

I hope you guys are fine with this new direction as it ultimately means that you get the game sooner.
