addedI'm working on the final big update for the Unity4-based version of the game (which will be labeled "Director's Cut"). After that I'll be working on a Unity5-based remake and looking for a US publisher to release it (I'm done with marketing and I don't want to deal with atrocious Steam payment system anymore). Transiting from Unity 4 to Unity 5 can just kill the game (messing up every single object and make all scripts obsolete), so Unity5 remake might be in development for months or won't be released at all (if I won't find the publisher). Fun fact: transiting from just Unity 4.2 to 4.3 back in a day destroyed the project completely (at least I had a backup). So... Planned features / goals for Director's Cut: - Alternate version of the main campaign without any shooting (with an alternate story) + some other plot changes - More polish (including fancy animated interludes), more consistent style - Bigger levels - Need to make sure there aren't any spelling errors / typos left, for that I'm looking for a third proofreader - Updated sounds / graphics / GUI / controls - New videos / updated old ones - System which will inform you how many secrets you found on the level (at least there would be a pop-up saying what secret you found when you find it) What most definitely will be in Unity 5 remake: - Better graphics with physics-based shaders (because we are all know that 99% of people play 3D first person games for cutting edge graphics) - Controller support - Mouse invert - New characters / secrets - More animations / effects / scripts - Fuck if I know, time will tell Bonus (Update 1.5.7 patch notes) Update 1.5.7 (November 21) - New main menu background - Spelling fixes (textures) - Font fixes - Credits GUI fix - Other fixes
