Patch Notes & Life Update!

📝 Patch Notes

• Fixed player getting stuck in the mines if they die whilst lightinig the fuse.

• Fixed text shrinking as it's typed in.

• Fixed birds sometimes sitting still doing nothing.

• Fixed the large shelf pricing.

• Fixed transitions & screen flickering sometimes.

• Fixed pink hearts randomly appearing in the relationship UI.

• Fixed flowers popping in when you load a new scene.

• Fixed the hat purchase interaction point in the shop.

• Fixed the build GUI tooltip on Steam Deck.

• Added a player shadow.

• Added a shadow to all trees.

❤️ Romance Progress

The romance update is in progress. Life got busy (new job!) so it took longer than planned. I did lots of great writing of the winter, but got the post-launch blues so had to take a break. Here's my favourite line so far:

'He's American?! I can't stand their accent. English spoken in an American accent is like Mozart played on the kazoo' - Mr Mortimer

🏃‍♂️ Life Update

I wanted to give you all a bit of a life update! The game hasn't been selling to a degree where I've been able to work on the game full-time. As you can imagine, I was really upset by this last year. It was a pretty rough period for me. I've since found full-time work, and am super happy in my new role. I want to assure you all that I'm committed to the game, and that I will be working on the romance update and bug fixes in my free time. I'll always be fixing any game-breaking bugs as soon as possible. I ask that you're patient with me, and understand that whilst the romance update timelines have changed- I'm comitted to getting it done. I always saw myself as an artist making this game, not a business man. This is my art and I'm grateful to each of you who have supported me in it. Thank you.
