The Hidden Room - Pyramid changes
After a dedicated period of development and community feedback, we are thrilled to announce that The Hidden Room - Pyramid is officially transitioning from Early Access to Version 1.0. This milestone marks the completion of the Pyramid chapter, delivering the definitive version of the experience with refined mechanics and a complete technical overhaul. Thank you for being part of this journey!
Note: If you have played previous versions, it's recommended to start a New Game as older savegames are not compatible with the new version of the game.
Major Features
🏛️ Brand New Lighting & Atmosphere
The Pyramid has been completely transformed. We have implemented a new lighting system, creating a much more atmospheric and immersive exploration experience.
🧩 Puzzle Overhauls
Several core features have been reimagined for a better experience. We have completely reworked the Maze puzzle, which has now been replaced by "The Chase" puzzle, revamped the Sundial interaction, and replaced the "Water Puzzle" with new environmental assets. We have also made several improvements to other puzzles.
🏃 Faster Movement
Navigating the Pyramid is now faster. We’ve increased the base walking speed to match the old sprint pace and significantly increased the speed while crouching.
🎙️ New Voiceovers
We’ve added new voiceovers across multiple sections of the map, bringing a deeper layer of immersion to your journey through the Pyramid.
