[The Tale of the Island of Light #06]

A few days later,

Atlas invited Haneul to explore the island together.

They walked through forests,

crossed valleys,

and wandered slowly across fields covered in flowers.

Before they knew it,

the sun had set,

and stars began to appear one by one.

After walking beneath the starlit sky for some time,

they finally stopped

before a circle of mysterious stone monoliths.

As though they had stood there since ancient times,

one great stone

surrounded by several smaller ones

rested silently beneath the night sky.

Haneul slowly looked up.

"...What is this?"

Atlas gently placed his hand on the great stone.

A faint light spread quietly across the carved symbol.

"It's the power that protects this island."

Without saying a word,

Haneul continued gazing at the glowing Guardian Stone.

The light of the stars

and the light of the stone

quietly reflected one another.
