addedSave System for Monsters and TrapsYes, you can now save the game! While you can't save during a run, you can save the amount of GEMS you collect, the monsters and traps you unlock, and the ones you bring along. We're working hard to make this system as stress-free as possible.
changedAccessibility OptionsWe're constantly improving our accessibility options. As a dyslexic developer, my eyes go BLEEEH every time there's too many tnts or magic orbs in the room, the areas overlap themselves and it's hard to focus on the strategy. That's why Daniel had the brilliant idea to give the option to increase the pixel size of the circle of the range for better readability when there are too many ranges on the screen.
addedNEW EFFECT JOINS THE FIGHT!Introducing "Transform": When a monster is played with another monster that is affiliated with it, they will transform. Get ready for some exciting new combinations!

Debugging Playtest of the Hub

We are meticulously debugging the issues our playtesters have found. Our goal is to deliver a polished demo, targeted for release sometime in 2025. As a two-person team, this process takes considerable time and effort. We're working full-time, day and night, to ensure The Good Overlord runs smoothly. Daniel is diligently fixing every nook and cranny of this game.

All NPCs have their final design! Finally! Here's a sneak peek at some of them. And yes, they are all 100% human. Why do you ask?
