The Garden Path sprouted four seasons ago, exactly one year ago during the summer! It’s been an amazing journey undertaken with all you lovely gardeners, and we’re grateful for your company.

New Anniversary Update 1.2

We also have a free update with new features! Update 1.2 further deepens the bond between you and the vegetable residents by introducing dedicated areas for different residents, called the allotment system! You’ll also get to spend more time with Augustus in a new quest line and refresh your wardrobe with a new clothing dye system.

New Dedicated Garden Plots For Vegetable Residents 🥕

Deepen your bond with vegetable residents by creating specific plots in the Garden for them. How you invite the resident, what will grow in the space, and how you can decorate will depend on the specific resident’s tastes! For example, Hubert will require a birdhouse in an allotment before he can be assigned there.

Augustus Quest Expanded 🐻

Remember the loveable Augustus and the mysterious Page 123? He now has a new quest waiting for you! Go on a camping trip with him to help him earn his nights away badge and learn more about being a Park Scout Ranger.

Previously, the dye system was limited to hair, but now it’s available for certain clothing items! Chat with Caoimhe to see if she has any of these items in stock and learn how to dye clothes.

Improvements Since Launch

Since launch, we’ve continuously incorporated player feedback and improved the overall experience! We fixed instability issues with the Nintendo Switch build and optimized the tutorial overall for a more streamlined experience.

If you haven’t played for a while and would like to visit the Garden again, please do so! You’ll find it a much better experience. We must emphasize that the game is intentionally designed for the player to experiment and wander off on their own. So getting lost sometimes is to be expected! That said, if you feel you need more guidance, please check out our wiki for tips and tricks.

For returning players, we also want to mention three free updates you might have missed!

• In October, we celebrated Halloween with costumes and a new hair dye mechanic.

• In winter, we released a winter update with cozy outfits, new residents, and new blueprints!

• During the season of love, we pushed a Co-op Update with a very sweet hand-holding mechanic in the local co-op, plus, a new flower arranging mechanic.
