The Fortress changes
A new update is now live, bringing major improvements, new features, and additional challenge options. Ongoing development will continue with regular weekly updates based on community feedback.
Localization
We completed a large localization pass across the entire game. All in game texts are now fully translated into:
Italian
German
Russian
Portuguese
New Hardcore Mode
A new Hardcore Mode has been added for players seeking a more hardcore experience.
Increased overall difficulty
Tougher progression
New achievements have been added alongside this mode.
UI Improvements
Added a new UI indicator that shows what happens to player health at the end of each level.
A dedicated symbol now indicates that a class specific life die is rolled at level end.
This change was introduced based directly on player feedback.
Bug Fixes
Fixed several minor bugs.
Players who had already unlocked all classes and all relics will now automatically unlock the achievements for first class and first relic obtained.
Fixed an issue where the game could fail to run offline or without Steam access.
Balance Changes
Adjusted the balance of enemy encounters.
Improved distribution of loot.
Tuned the frequency of special rooms.
