changedIntro Text: “Let Me Read Faster Than The Music, Please”We’ve seen the feedback about the intro text pacing, and yes: we timed the lines to the music… which has apparently caused some of you to age five years in the first 60 seconds. Right now, after you’ve watched the intro once, you can already hold to skip the entire intro on future runs. But we agree that’s not quite enough if you’re reading faster than the dramatic timing. Planned update We’re working on an option that lets you press any key / button to advance to the next line as soon as you’ve finished reading, instead of waiting for the next timed beat.
addedIntro Text: “Let Me Read Faster Than The Music, Please”We’re aiming to get this in as soon as possible (target: the next couple of weeks ), assuming Dave.exe stops “adding atmosphere” by inserting extra pauses when we’re not looking.

  • Cinematic pacing for first-timers

  • Instant “next line” for everyone else

  • Less waiting. More tomb. More sanity.

We’re aiming to get this in as soon as possible (target: the next couple of weeks), assuming Dave.exe stops “adding atmosphere” by inserting extra pauses when we’re not looking.
