The Floor Above Artbook is now available on Steam!

The Floor Above Digital Artbook

It's a 32-page digital artbook — concept art, work-in-progress pieces, anomaly designs, character explorations, and notes from development. Inside you'll find the early ideas and visual experiments behind The Room, the chair, The Doll, Not Morty, The Watcher, The Hangman, The Backroom, and more. From rough sketches and dead ends to the final direction, along with our thoughts on the ideas behind some of the characters.

Alongside the artwork, we wrote down what we were thinking: what each design was trying to express, how the concepts shifted along the way, and why some of them ended up shaping the atmosphere of the game. It's less a gallery than a look at how the game came together.

Note: the artbook contains spoilers for the full game.
