Good news everyone!

Since the release last week I've been working tirelessly to address as much as possible of the feedback that all of you wonderful people shared. This is what changes with this update:

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Reworked the pricing between cards and upgrades to make sure players don't dilute the card pool too early in the progression: most upgrades are now much cheaper for the first couple of levels, and more importantly, the price for silver cards now increases with every card you unlock

  • Everyone gets 5 free card disables after the first tutorial run

  • Increased the maximum unlockable card disables from 20 to 25

  • Added a reset button to the card disable screen

  • Reworked hand UX: while dragging a card, all cards in hand are temporarily hidden to avoid accidental interactions and give more room to the return and sell buttons

  • Reworked stacking UX: when dragging a card over another of the same kind, you're now presented with a confirmation similar to the upgrade cards: clicking on the right side of the card will swap them, clicking on the left side will stack them

  • Added an additional check for the COLLECTION challenge; if you unlock the last card while attempting the billion, you will unlock the challenge as soon as you the title screen

  • The new game screen now defaults to the last difficulty you played

  • While you're in a run, the MARATHON and SPRINT challenges show the total time spent in their tooltip's description

BUGFIXES

  • Fixed an issue where all players had the prestige upgrade and played with that late game bonus & malus (sorry 'bout that one folks!)

  • Fixed the REFINANCE description showing the stack icon even though the card is a unique

  • Fixed an exploit where you could have multiple of the same uniques abusing the PLACEHOLDER card

  • Fixed the silver balance not showing the localized abbreviations for big numbers

  • Fixed the difficulty navigation working even though the button was disabled

BALANCING

  • ECHO now slows the card on the right by 30%

  • ECHO now only doubles the effect if the card on the right spent the full cycle in that slot

  • INSURANCE is now a unique

  • OVERTIME is now a unique

  • REALLOCATE no longer works on uniques

  • COPY's cycle time changed from 30s to 40s

  • DUPLICATE's cycle time changed from 30s to 60s

  • ALGO TRADING's cycle time changed from 5s to 4s

  • LUCKY STREAK's cycle time changed from 5s to 4s

  • BLACK HOLE's growth changed from $3 to $4

  • IDLE's cycle time changed from 15s to 12s

  • CASINO's cycle time changed from 25s to 30s

  • CASINO's roll changed from -25/50 to -50/100

Your feedback has been great, thank you all for taking the time to share it with us.

I am confident that the pricing changes for cards and upgrades will go a long way to address the unrewarding randomness that many players experienced. Unfortunately I couldn't fit in the profile reset, but I've described here how you can delete the data if you want to start over.

The card stacking feeling sometimes underwhelming is something I will address in a bigger patch a bit further ahead, but I have an idea for this already. I hope in the meantime this update will make as many of you happy as possible!

Have fun and make millions!
