Early Access Release

Hi all. The Early Access version is now available. There's a lot I'm happy with, but I think in the final version it will feel a lot easier to get interested in what you're doing, and to follow the various plotlines.

addedHi all. The Early Access version is now available. There's a lot I'm happy with, but I think in the final version it will feel a lot easier to get interested in what you're doing, and to follow the various plotlines. So I've made this version available, but I don't intend to promote it very much, as I'm optimistic that the final version will be a significant step up.
changedThanks to those who previously tested the EA version. Many changes have been made since then, including some influenced by feedback. Here is a partial list, in the order I think of the changes:
changedFewer nodes, to get to places on the map faster
changedMini 3D service station area, breaking up your first map journey
addedSome new locations and conversations related to getting ponchos
addedA new ending, connected with the mysterious glowing cube

Thanks to those who previously tested the EA version. Many changes have been made since then, including some influenced by feedback. Here is a partial list, in the order I think of the changes:

-Control pad support

-Fewer nodes, to get to places on the map faster

-Streamlined journey to your first location, though it needs reworking

-Mini 3D service station area, breaking up your first map journey

-Several unlockable ponchos, providing a bit more motivation to explore

-Some new locations and conversations related to getting ponchos

-A mysterious glowing cube that shows up in your inventory somehow

-There is now an inventory

-A new ending, connected with the mysterious glowing cube

-Better J.D. animations

-Dynamic resolution, which scales up and down to keep you around or above 33 FPS

-New NPCs

-New and more appropriate vehicles

-Compass in corner of map screen

-Button to return to your location on the map

-3D bike model, finally, about 4 years after I drew a concept for it
