In the ninth chapter of our devlog, we are sharing comprehensive updates that advance the technical and visual aspects of The Enigma Cases. Each update is detailed below, followed by the new visual materials.

User Interface (UI) Overhaul

We have completely reconstructed all UI systems to modernize the visual language. The lobby screen and in-game panels are now more professional and intuitive.

Input Hint System

A new system has been implemented to facilitate interaction with world objects. You can now see dynamic indicators for object interactions.

Server and Helmet Port Systems

On the technical side, we improved the hardware port systems for servers and helmets. These components now provide more realistic feedback.

Dynamic Rope Physics

We optimized the rope physics system to enhance environmental interaction. The movement of swinging objects is now completely dynamic and natural.

Poisoning Mechanic

Environmental threats have been added to investigation zones. The poisoning effect, encountered especially when heading to upper floors, requires strategic movement.

Terminal Hacking (Pod)

A new "Pod" terminal hacking puzzle has been added. It offers a more complex and engaging way to breach security systems without spoiling the mystery.

Interactive Piano

We added a fully playable piano to the game world. You can now compose your own melodies between investigations.

Encrypted Doors and Access Control

New encrypted door mechanisms managed via the Access Control Canvas system have been added, raising the bar for security clearance.

Voting System

A new mechanism that allows team decisions to be made through a voting process has been integrated.

Mini-games: Tetris and Battleship

Classic mini-games like Tetris and Battleship have been integrated into the world for detectives who want a quick break.

Cassette Player System

An interactive cassette player mechanism has been added where you can insert and listen to tapes found in the world.

New Safe

A next-generation mystery box that can only be opened with the correct clue has been added to the investigation.

The Rooms of Evan and Marcus

The rooms of Evan and Marcus, which contain vital story details and character depth, have been designed with a unique atmosphere and new visual clues.

Character Optimization and Sheriff

All models, especially the Sheriff, have been optimized for performance. Level of detail (LOD) has been increased without compromising performance.

Lab Details and Props

The laboratory area has been enriched with numerous new environment props that make the space feel more immersive and mysterious.
