The Dreamer Must Die changes
It was never announced, but I took The Dreamer Must Die to PAX West this year. It was a ton of work, but very much worth it for the player feedback I got. I really should find some kind of community manager to do this kind of stuff... Anyway, the game has over 600 wishlists!! Steam post image I'm taking a week off to decompress, and get some networking done (I have so many business cards.) But now that PAX is over, I'm free to finally work to the first early access release.
On to the update, the game has been re-balanced and enemy AI rewritten to compliment the targeting lock-on system. Instead of tracking bullets, the enemies reinforce a "3D bullet hell" experience. Lots of other improvements have been made as well. Hope you all have fun!
