The Dream changes
I started the dream project in order to understand technically why games
were getting fuzzier and fuzzier and asking for higher requirements but
the performance is every time worst. As a result we have this game that
you can even play it in a steam deck, or get it to run in 4k with a non dedicated
gpu as the 780m
There was plenty of stuff that i didn't understand about the market of not free games,
Gamers want to test the waters first. Either you do a demo or make a beta .
there is a lot of boring stuff highly demanded by the user, like control configurations.
Even making a big game full of features, if there is no story line its very hard to
gain user attention.
A lot of people hate mix of art, i dont have the capabilities so ill buy assets
or use mixamo for animations, think if you add enough stuff in will end up sitting xD.
All of them are valid points, but i dont have the capabilities with a fulltime job to pass those
validation points in order to put a price in the game as my new understanding of the situation
i could come and say yeah buy my game am indie, i hate dlcs and microtransactions
but its just fighting the fact that games are everywhere and a lot of them are free
Long story short dont buy the dream, it will be FREE when steam changes the type of the game, (it could be today but it depends on steam)
Users that already bought the dream will have access to anything that they want (from the game features)
