The Detective Chapters: Part One changes
First let me say thank you all for your interest in my game! You're all great and I'm thrilled others have the opportunity to finally play something I have worked so hard on for so long. With that said it is time to address the elephant in the room.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME DIRECTLY WITH ANY ISSUES
IS THIS BUGGY OR JUST ME?
A few issues have come up since launch. Let me first say I thoroughly tested the game from start to finish in the weeks before launch, and I had a team of beta testers helping me for months. Unfortunately issues will always arise at launch.
GETTING STUCK ON OBJECTS
Don't you just hate when you drop a bag of ice at home on the floor and then you can't seem to walk around it? Oh my gosh I hate when I do that! In all seriousness I have decided I'm going to remove the object pick up mechanic from the game which will solve this annoying little problem. In the meantime to avoid getting struck try not to drop objects on the ground in your walking path.
STUCK ON LOADING SCREEN OCTOBER 7th, 2016
This is a weird one for me, because I personally never experienced it in any of my play throughs, but apparently it is real and a problem. I will be dedicating my time to solving this mystery ASAP.
PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION
The games is a bit of a system hog due to the imminence amount of detailed objects in the game. I will be addressing this over time.
WHEN IS PART TWO COMING?
How should I know? Just kidding, but seriously I have no idea. These things take time and I need to focus on fixing what needs fixing with part one first and foremost. I do have an outline in the works for Part Two and will be working on it soon.
Thank you all! -Adam
