addedThe Deep Deep Launch DateThe Deep Deep has set a launch date of September 2021! Originally slated for release in March 2021, this decision has been made in order to deliver a game closer to the vision of our best ambitions. Rather than releasing a one campaign game of 2-5 hours of content, we are now busy implementing the new “Delve” mode which will infinitely test the skills learned in the regular campaign.
addedThe Deep Deep Launch DateWe are excited about the feedback we've been getting from the Steam community and we want to acknowledge the Steam Game Festival for allowing us to reach a new audience of play testers. It is a result of this feedback that has inspired us to deliver a larger version of the game than initially promised.

As an independent team, it was impossible to create enough hand drawn levels to showcase all the assets we had made. Instead, our procedurally generated, exceedingly deep, map system will enable the “Delve” mode to bring you more items, more baddies, more music, and theoretically infinite cave-diving!

The Deep Deep Launch Date

The Deep Deep has set a launch date of September 2021!

We are excited about the feedback we've been getting from the Steam community and we want to acknowledge the Steam Game Festival for allowing us to reach a new audience of play testers. It is a result of this feedback that has inspired us to deliver a larger version of the game than initially promised.

What is the “Delve” mode and why should I wait for it?

The existing game consists of an intricate and varied campaign to take back Dwarfholm from the conquering Goblin forces. The Delve mode will instead be focused on delving into the deep unknown territories below Dwarfholm!

Each Delve will be a unique procedurally generated rogue-like experience, of randomly generated caves and tunnels populated by Goblins, Orcs, Gnomes, and more! Frankly, the team is excited to deliver many more of artist Vince Price's numerous enemy and equipment assets. As an independent team, it was impossible to create enough hand drawn levels to showcase all the assets we had made. Instead, our procedurally generated, exceedingly deep, map system will enable the “Delve” mode to bring you more items, more baddies, more music, and theoretically infinite cave-diving!
