Welcome back, everyone!

This time, we’ll go through some of the Tarot cards that will be featured in our demo. They’ll be essential for creating specialized builds, tailored to your playstyle.

We’re aiming to include 14 different Tarot cards in our first build, maybe even more!

Tarot Cards

If you're not familiar with Tarot Cards, you can check out our in-depth article explaining them here: view

These provide unique bonuses that shape your playstyle. Combining them with Poker Cards will be your path to conquering the darkness. Here are some of them:

The Red Choir

Expands your reach across the battlefield, making all area-based effects wider and more effective. Strong for builds that rely on zone control or overlapping damage fields. The Red Choir seems perfect for builds that focus on large areas of effect, hitting as many monsters as possible. It provides:

  • (+20 to +35%) Increased Global Area of Effect

Large Bore

Thickens projectile presence, increasing hit consistency and coverage. Particularly valuable for close-range or spread-based firearm builds. The Large Bore encourages you to get up close to your enemies and blast through them with shotgun-style damage. This Tarot card provides:

  • (+15 to +20%) Increased Global Projectile Size

Blasting Cap (Dynamite)

Converts projectiles into explosive novas but restricts initial projectile count. A high-impact transformation for explosive focused builds. How about being limited to a single shot, but each one hits like a nuclear bomb? That’s Blasting Cap (Dynamite)! It provides:

  • Projectiles Nova

  • Maximum "Initial" Projectile count = 1

  • (-20% to -30%) Less Global Projectile Damage

Broken Compass

Introduces chaotic projectile cascading while heavily restricting initial shots and speed. Designed as a distortion tool rather than a direct upgrade. How about filling the map with bullets every time they hit an enemy? The Broken Compass lets you rain bullets on your enemies, providing:

  • Projectiles Cascade

  • 10% Less Attack & Cast speed

  • Maximum "Initial" Projectile count = 1

  • (-25% to -35%) Less Global Projectile Damage

Balanced Boon

A gamble effect that rolls wide stat ranges across many attributes. It can create extreme highs or crippling lows depending on the outcome. How about not overthinking it and just relying on pure luck? The Balanced Boon gives you a range of positive and negative affixes across different stats:

  • Life (-30 to +30)

  • All Resistance (-20 to +20)

  • Movement Speed (-5% to +5%)

  • Reload Speed (-20% to +20%)

  • Projectile Damage (-20% to +20%)

  • Projectile Speed (-30% to +30%)

  • Projectile Size (-30% to +30%)

  • Damage Taken (-5% to +5%)

  • Character Size (-3% to +3%)

As always, all this information is subject to change, especially the numbers. But you can expect to see all of it in our upcoming demo. We can’t wait to share more!

With this, you can already start theorycrafting what you’d like to build and how you’re going to play.

Which one grabbed your attention the most?
