After some time away from this project, I decided to revisit and clean up some of the games shortcomings.

Here are the changes I've made:

New features: -Added an interactive map that can be accessed with the M key. -Added a white embers effect and windchime sound when close to any interactable objects -Added outlines for the choppable chunks in the Giant Tree Trunk. -Added death screen with situational advise depending on death type -Cleaned up the audio ducking for all death transitions, menu transitions, and loading screens -Cleaned up the audio cue distances from some placeable items

Bug Fixes: -Fixed awkward camera movement during some of the cutscenes and events. -Fixed Rifles not deactivating sometimes on death during Crow Bear sequence. -Fixed some out of place foliage -Fixed interaction distance being too long

Balance Changes: -Increased The day length in the day night cycle substantially. -Added more ways to reset the time of day in some biomes. -reduced the number of chops to break a giant tree chunk from 3 to 2

Demo 2.0 -The demo has been updated to include all post launch changes (this includes a difficulty setting, a new and improved opening tutorial, an in game objectives help menu, and many more accessibility and stability changes) (Please see the list of small patches on the news page of the community hub for more details) -Both swamp biome objective sets and part of the cave sequence are now playable in the demo (Meet the swamp biomes menacing under-lord, and creator of the rock formations in the area)

That's all for now, but on a side note, I'd like to say that, though I still have a ways to go, my next game is shaping up to be something quite different, and I'm looking forward to sharing more soon.

Best regards, IceBathGames.
