changedAlso, something I should have touched on above, but I'm not sure I did: I say The Cabin will be pushed back by a couple months; that might not be the case; it isn't 100% guaranteed, as it could be out next month, or it could be out in August. I'm just saying a couple of months to give us a little breathing room.

This dev-note is going to be slightly different from how I normally do it. Normally I'd post one to Patreon and then paste it over here, but a lot of things on the Patreon one were specific to Patreon this month, and there wasn't really a lot I could copy over to here, so I figured I'd start fresh.

First of all, as much as I hate to do it, episode 11 release is getting pushed back a couple of months. The planned release date was originally July, and we were well on track for it, but then Crab dropped the writing for scene 6, and, I kid you not, the whole scene ( just one scene ) is larger than episode 10 combined. I told him last month to start aiming for smaller episodes, but to his credit and in his defense, the scene is kind of needed. I had a poll on Patreon on whether or not we should push the release back a couple months or release it in two parts, and the vast majority voted to release it all at once. That poll wouldn't have affected the Steam release either way, as that would be getting pushed back regardless, given how Steam releases work.

That being said, progress is still progressing smoothly. We have the art for the first 4 scenes finished, and we're currently about halfway through scene 5. All of the "writing" is done for episode 11. I put "writing" in air quotes, as I still need to do the script work for it, which, truth be told, is a very slow process but is still coming along nicely.

The only other bit of Patreon news I shared that might be relevant here is the pushback of the Nordstrums Treasure demo/prologue. I originally wanted to release it this month, but with everything going on with The Cabin, I just haven't had time. I originally pushed it back to next month, but truth be told, I'm doubtful it'll be out then too. Purely because I want to focus as much as I can on The Cabin and not a demo for a game that likely won't be out anytime soon.

Also, something I should have touched on above, but I'm not sure I did: I say The Cabin will be pushed back by a couple months; that might not be the case; it isn't 100% guaranteed, as it could be out next month, or it could be out in August.
