addedBoth the new Line 218 and the first extension of Line 17 to Bramfelder Dorfplatz are largely completed and currently undergoing final polishing work.
addedWIP videos for all new sections have already been published on our YouTube channel, which is linked at the end of this news post.
addedThe upcoming May Update will also introduce the Economy Mode to the Hamburg DLC. Originally, the new Alsterdorf depot on Tessenowweg was planned as the main depot for this feature. However, during the final stages of development, it became clear that this depot could not be integrated into the Economy Mode as intended from both a technical and gameplay perspective.
addedThe Alsterdorf depot will of course remain fully accessible and can still be used freely as a starting point. For the Economy Mode itself, we will instead use an alternative location in the southern Bramfelder Chaussee area. A new depot is currently being built there, offering enough space for managing and operating your own bus fleet.
addedWhile this location represents a slight compromise in terms of authenticity, it also comes with advantages: the functional and slightly worn appearance of the Economy depot fits this new gameplay area much better than the modern Alsterdorf facility.
addedDue to this adjustment, we need to slightly revise our original schedule. In addition to the depot itself, the surrounding roads, terrain, and connections also need to be rebuilt and redesigned. At the same time, this new area offers additional opportunities to expand and enhance the map in a meaningful and atmospheric way.

Once released, the May Update — including the new Line 218, the Line 17 extension, and the Economy Mode — will be available free of charge for all owners of the Hamburg DLC.

Development of the Hamburg DLC console version will begin after the release of the update.
