today we’re sharing our first roadmap for The Bus, giving you an overview of what we’re currently working on and what’s planned for upcoming updates and DLCs.
The roadmap applies to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Content that will be available on PC only is clearly marked. All planned DLCs are intended for all platforms unless stated otherwise.
Update 1.1: Economy Mode Update
With Update 1.1, we’re focusing on expanding and improving the economy mode.
One of the main additions will be extended customization options for your buses. You’ll be able to apply your own liveries and attach different components. On PC, you’ll also be able to create your own logos. This feature will not be available on consoles due to technical limitations.
We are also working on rebalancing the economy, including income, expenses and other factors that affect your company.
As with every update, additional bug fixes, level art fixes and performance optimizations will be included. Full details will be shared in the changelog.
In Progress
Alongside Update 1.1, we are already working on further content and improvements.
This includes the eBus 2.2, which is currently in development. The license is still pending. The bus is planned to release in four variants:
12 meters with 2 doors
12 meters with 3 doors
18 meters with 3 doors
18 meters with 4 doors

The Hamburg City DLC is currently being prepared for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and will be released on consoles soon. Development is ongoing, with Halycon Media continuing to work on additional content, including the planned Line 17.
We are also working on AI trams as well as implementing force feedback for consoles.
In addition, several national and international DLCs are currently in development and will be revealed at a later time.
Planned
Looking further ahead, additional content and features are planned. This includes further expansions for the economy mode, such as custom operating plans, visible vehicles in depots and AI buses.
We also plan to add key rebinding for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, make buses from Fernbus Simulator playable in The Bus and implement a gearbox overhaul.
Another planned DLC is Berlin-Charlottenburg, featuring Lines 109 and 309. At the same time, we are also working on three new buses: the Alexander Dennis Enviro 400, the Alexander Dennis Enviro 500 and the MAN New Lion’s City.
Halycon Media is also planning additional vehicle DLCs for The Bus, including the C2 Diesel and the MAN Lion’s Intercity LE.
Roadmap Notice
In addition to new content, we will continue to deliver bug fixes, level art fixes and performance optimizations across all platforms.
Please note that content, order and timing may change during development. This roadmap reflects our current plans and is intended to give you a transparent overview of what’s coming next for The Bus.
