Hard mode continues to use the existing RNG system without group restrictions.
addedWe hope that these balance changes will make the early game a bit less starved for income as there will be more contracts and the contracts will not require any upgrade purchases. We know that recipe discovery is is still a major issue and we are working to add more ways to acquire recipes as well as a bit of an overhaul of brewing in general, but that is a bit of a larger job.

Contract quality requirements increase as fame increases for Normal and Hard mode. For normal mode > 50k fame contracts will start to require 1*, > 75k it will be 2*. Hard mode is 30k-50k 1*, 50k-75k 2*, 75-100k 3*.
