I’m excited to announce that The Beast Is Yet To Come is officially launching in Early Access in just a few days!
It’s been an incredible journey building this project over the past months, and I want to share where the game stands today and what’s coming next.
🔥 What’s New in the Game Right Now
Over the past weeks, I’ve been gathering tons of feedback and improving the game dramatically. Here are some of the latest additions and improvements:
🆕 New Playable Character
Sansuna, the giantess warrior from Malta She has her own animations, abilities, and gameplay style.
🆕 New Power Ups & Skills
6 new Power Ups added (Potion Locator, Walk Pushback, Health Regen, Leprechaun’s Luck, and more)
2 new Skills: Exploding Corpses and Find Health Potions
Enemy knockback, hit pushback, and more satisfying combat
🆕 Audio & Visual Improvements
Screen shake when hitting enemies
New SFX for hits, enemies, XP coins, and cooldown failed actions
Better lighting, shadows, and environment clarity
🆕 Performance Improvements
Optimized models and animations
Smoother turning, better control responsiveness
Fixes to thrown enemy behavior and Troll footprints
