First of all, thank you for playing The Awakener: Battle Tendency right after launch, and for sharing your feedback and suggestions with us.

In the current version, there are indeed several issues affecting the gameplay experience, especially regarding controller support, monster balance, and multilingual localization. These problems have affected some players’ first impressions of the game, as well as the combat experience they should have been able to enjoy. For this, we sincerely apologize.

About Controller Support

We have received feedback from some players that, under certain controller and system environments, the current version may have issues such as abnormal button behavior, unstable recognition, or controls not working as expected.

We are continuing to fix controller-related issues.

If you are still experiencing problems while using a controller, you can try the following method first:

Disable “Steam Input” in Steam, then restart the game.

In some cases, this may resolve abnormal button mapping or input conflict issues. We will also continue improving the game’s native controller compatibility, so players will need to manually adjust settings as little as possible.

About Monster Balance and Stage Pacing

We have also received a lot of feedback regarding monster HP, damage, poise, Boss difficulty, and early-stage pacing.

In the current version, some monster values are indeed too high, which makes the combat pace feel dragged out and causes some players to feel pressured into grinding equipment and stacking stats too early. This is not the experience we wanted to deliver.

We are currently adjusting the following:

  • Monster HP, damage, and poise;

  • Elite enemy and Boss difficulty;

  • Overall pacing of early stages;

  • The energy gauge accumulation speed required to clear stages;

  • Stage progression and Boss portal activation conditions.

We will work to make the early game experience smoother as soon as possible, so players can enjoy the fun of combat, loot, and character growth earlier.

About Multilingual Localization

Regarding multilingual localization, we also want to apologize again to our overseas players.

In the current version, some languages still contain untranslated text, inaccurate translations, display issues, or unnatural wording. In particular, some story text, system explanations, and UI text have not yet reached the quality standard we should have delivered.

We are continuously organizing and correcting multilingual text, and we will keep improving localization quality through future updates.

This will not be just a one-time simple fix. We will continue making corrections based on player feedback, and do our best to help players of different languages better understand the game content and world setting.

Finally

Thank you again for playing, criticizing, and being patient with us.

We know that an apology alone is not enough. Next, we will continue fixing issues, adjusting balance, and improving the overall experience through patch updates.

You are also very welcome to keep sharing feedback in the Steam discussions, review section, or our community. We will carefully read every piece of feedback and do our best to reflect it in future updates.

Thank you for being willing to give The Awakener: Battle Tendency a chance.

We will keep polishing the game.
